BLACKWATER CALLOWS: 5 White-fronted Geese between Lismore & Ballyduff (2nd pond on left past Towers on way to Ballyduff), 70 Whooper Swans (59 Lismore to Ballyduff, 11 W of Ballyduff) & 300+ Black-tailed Godwits (TM).

RAM HEAD: Fin Whale, 50 Common Dolphins & a late Red Admiral this afternoon (ADM).

OLD PARISH (Drum Hills):  2 Woodcock (FO'C, JAP, RAW).

WHITING BAY:  5 Tree Sparrows at usual site near W end, adult Mediterranean Gull (").

ARDMORE:  Adult Mediterranean Gull at Curragh strand (").

DUNGARVAN:  5 Pintail (4 f 1 m) & 10 Shoveler (5 m 5 f) in Western Bay; 5 Goldeneye (4 f 1 m) at Ballyneety (FO'C JAP RAW).

TRAMORE BAY: Female Long-tailed Duck flew from Backstrand (also seen between the spits there) and landed on sea in the bay, also 2 Common Scoter & a Red-throated Diver in same area (DS).

CLONEA BAY:  2 Red-throated Divers off Ballyvoyle, male and female Blackcap at Ballyvoyle, 3 Swallows at Clonea (").

STRADBALLY: Red Squirrel (").

HELVICK HEAD: Great Skua,  adult Mediterranean Gull & Black Redstart (").

WATERFORD CITY:  4+ Black Redstarts at the back of Honeywell Aerospace at IDA industrial estate, plus a lot of Pied Wagtails accompanyign them (KB, BB).
BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Total of 5 Black Redstarts this morning (3 at farmyard behind main gardens, 2 at farm about 1 km inland),also 10-15 Chiffchaffs (PA, DS).

TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  Whooper Swan at Lisselan (DS).
