TRAMORE BAY: Female Long-tailed Duck flew from Backstrand (also seen between the spits there) and landed on sea in the bay, also 2 Common Scoter & a Red-throated Diver in same area (DS).

DUNMORE EAST:  Adult male Black Redstart at cliff carpark, 17 Common Scoter heading W (JF).

KNOCKADERRY RESERVOIR: 7 Tufted Duck but no sign of Great Northern Diver (MC).

DERRIGAL (nr Portlaw): 35 Greylag Geese & 4 Whooper Swans (").

DUNGARVAN: 4 SPOONBILLS again at high tide roost on the Cunnigar (JAP).

HELVICK HEAD: 1 Great Skua, moderate passage of large auks & Kittiwakes, small numbers of Fulmars & Gannets (seawatch 10:15-12:15, JAP).

Nr DUNGARVAN:  Barn Owl road casualty (JJC).

TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  3 Short-eared Owls (AJ, JF).

DUNGARVAN:  4 SPOONBILLS on the Cunnigar; Black Redstart & Kingfisher at Ballynacourty pier;  Black Redstart at the promenade, Abbeyside beach; pair of Shoveler & 3 Pintail (male & 2 females), Western Bay (FO'C).

BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER still present but elusive in garden at 13:40 (AJ).

WATERFORD CITY:  4+ Black Redstarts at the back of Honeywell Aerospace at IDA industrial estate, plus a lot of Pied Wagtails accompanyign them (KB, BB).

BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Total of 5 Black Redstarts this morning (3 at farmyard behind main gardens, 2 at farm about 1 km inland),also 10-15 Chiffchaffs (PA, DS).

TRAMORE BACKSTRAND:  Whooper Swan at Lisselan (DS).

DUNGARVAN: Black Redstart on roof of St Mary's church, the Lookout (PV).

BROWNSTOWN HEAD: RED-BREASTED FLYCATCHER still present in main willow garden (up to 15:30 at least), also a female/1st-w Black Redstart, female Blackcap, Redwing, 6+ Chiffchaffs & 2+ Swallows (MC, AJ, DS, KA).

TRAMORE BOATING LAKE: 23+ Shoveler, 20+ Gadwall & a Tufted Duck (MC).

BALLYVOYLE: 2 Black Redstarts on roof of house nr railway bridge, 14:45 (FO'C).
