BROWNSTOWN HEAD: Recently fledged juvenile Tree Sparrow along lane - success for the local pair (PMW).

MAHON BRIDGE: Stock Dove (PMW).

DUNGARVAN: 2nd-summer Glaucous Gull off Cunnigar car-park (MC snr).

RAM HEAD: Kittiwake count - 105 apparently occupied nests (AONs) at study plots (most of colony), a 10% decline from 117 AONs in 2012. Most birds apparently sitting tight, but total includes at least 20 empty but occupied nests (PMW).

TRAMORE ROAD: Long-eared Owl flew across road near Gracedieu tonight (JF).

WEST WATERFORD:  Buzzard (EB).

RAM HEAD:  2 Storm Petrels, a Minke Whale & good passage of Manx Shearwaters this morning (ADM).

BROWNSTOWN HEAD:  Arctic Skua (dark adult) E & 500+ Manx Shearwaters (seawatch 1000-1100); 2 Tree Sparrows, both carrying food (DS).

NEWTOWN GLEN (Tramore Bay): FIRECREST about 20 yards up from beach (AJ) -presumed same bird since 3 April, last reported 19/4; no previous Waterford occurrences outside period Sept-April.

BALLINLOUGH: 2 Treecreepers (JAP, RAW, BS).

CARRIGAVRANTRY: Spotted Flycatcher at entrance (").
